The Ceremony of the Buddha’s Enlightenment Attaining in the United Kingdom.

On the commemoration of Buddha Sakyamuni ’s enlightenment attaining, on lunar Dec. 8th 2014, once again, all Buddhists over of the world, who were of the respect with their wholesome heart, worshiped and had absolute belief toward the great Teacher of the Human and Devas.

The event of the Buddha’s attainment and His\r\npropagation which supported Buddhist generations with their endless and new\r\nfaith, pride, and energy of the Buddha’s cultivation path – The method that\r\nclarifies the substance of great hero, strength, mercifulness, compassion,\r\njoyfulness, detachment which are composed, attained and helped human release\r\nmiseries, get happiness, enlightenment of Buddha by the Buddha Sakyamuni.

On harmony with the glad atmosphere of welcoming this\r\nspecial event, by instruction of Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, Junior\r\nVen Thich Tam Nguyen and Thich Tam Loc - the monks of Hoang\r\nPhap pagoda, who arrived the United Kingdom to help The Vietnamese Buddhism\r\nAssociation in England organize the 2nd time of the Buddha\r\ncultivation Course, attending nearly 300 Buddhists in London and nearby\r\nprovinces.

The retreat started from the morning of Jan. 25th, 2015,\r\nwitnessed by Senior Ven. Thich Le Nguyen - the Chief of the Vietnamese Buddhism\r\nAssociation in England; Junior Ven. Thich Tri Hue – Abbot of Phap Tang pagoda\r\nin HCMC. After the opening operation of the cultivation course, all Buddhists\r\nlistened to a dharma talk by Junior Ven. Thich Tri Hue, who preached on the\r\ntopic “The meaning and process of the Buddha’s Enlightenment attaining of\r\nBodhisattva Siddhartha. In simple, humorous, real words, he deeply interpreted\r\nthe Buddha and His dharma.

After preaching, the Buddhists chanted the peaceful praying\r\nsutra, practiced the Buddha name chanting, vowed for the peaceful country and\r\nthe happiness people, calm and temperate weather, the dead ones to bebecome\r\nreleased, current people to be peace and contentment, everything to\r\nbe good and satisfied.

In the evening of same day was the ritual transmitting\r\nlights. The sparkling, small candles were transferred together, which brings\r\nthe endless wisdom light and spreads the unlimited love to everyone. Wishing\r\nthat its light will travel widely, dispel the dark, and send the wise material,\r\nBuddha Sakyamuni’s love to all places, where there is sleeping deep of\r\nignorance and it will offer their sincere heart to show gratitude to Him, who\r\nleads the way, instructs the beings of knowing the Buddha dharma and looking\r\nfor returning of their self nature.

The ceremony ended in the joyful of the mass, meanwhile\r\nfinished the 2nd time of Buddha retreat with the unforgettable echo.\r\nThe mass gladly made an appointment together for the next one.
