The Death Anniversary at Tay Khanh Pagoda, Thai Binh Province

In the morning of November 14th, 2016 (October 15th , year of the Goat) at Tan Khanh Pagoda, Cao Mai Hamlet, Quang Hung Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province, was solemnly held the 28th Death Anniversary of the Late Elder Superior Monk Ngo Chan Tu, the founder of Hoang Phap Pagoda.
The ceremony took place gravely in the presence of Venerable Thich Thanh Dinh - Vice Permanent Deputy of Management Department of Vietnam's Buddhist Church in Thai Binh Province, Venerable Thich Thanh Vuong - Head of Cultural Department of Vietnam's Buddhist Association in Thai Binh Province, Head of Propagation & Management Departments of Vietnam's Buddhist Association in Thai Binh Province, Venerable Thich Thanh Quyen, Vice Deputy of Buddhist Management Department, Kien Xuong District along with respectful Monks and Nuns who are the monastery abbots, the representatives, visitors and all of the Buddhists attending the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Tam Quan, on behalf of all the Buddhist sectarians, proclaimed the biography of the Late Elder Superior Monk Ngo Chan Tu, reviewing the primary features about the Buddhism learning and practicing processes of the Initiator so that the Buddhists can get to know more about his lofty life and religious career. The program continued with a moment's commemorating the Great Monk, which is probably considered a wayfor all the Buddhists to inwardly remember a heart of the Bodhisattva, who was unselfish and altruistic, and who was devoting his life to the sake of all living beings. This helps, in that way, to fuel the power and strengthen diligence during the learning and practicing processes as well as to transform sorrow in life.
It is likely to be said that his good deeds and teachings will become enlightening torches which obliterate every darkness and suffering and guidelines which help people escape from obscurity in order to return it to enlightenment..
At the end of the program, the monks along with all the attendants held a ceremony to thurify in tribute to the Initiator's sacred soul.
On this occasion, the organization board gave Buddhist attendants VCDs named "Tong Tang Gian Don – Simple funeral rituals" conducted by Hoang Phap Pagoda.
