The flower lantern ceremony commemorating the Buddha Amitabha at Tieu Dao pagoda.

In the evening of Dec. 8th, 2019 (on Nov. 13th, Pig Year), Tieu Dao Pagoda celebrated a flower lantern ceremony commemorating the Buddha Amitabha in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh.
The ceremony was witnessed Junior Venerable Thich Truc Thai Cang - vice President of Buddhist Director Board - the member of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh Province; Junior Venerable Thich Chieu Tuc – Abbot of Hung Khanh Pagoda in Ha Noi, accompanying with the venerables, abbot Monks, Nuns everywhere returned to attend the ceremony.
Opening the ceremony, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tinh, the Member of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Quang Ninh in Province, abbot of Tieu Dao pagoda delivered the opening speech. Next is the ritual of spreading light, the candle abounded by the Venerable lit up from the Buddha's altar, is passed on to the monks Ven and spread to Buddhists. In the solemn atmosphere and full of respect, Junior Ven. Thich Chieu Niem read 48 vows of Amitabha Buddha.
At the end of the program is preaching words of Junior Ven. Thich Chieu Tuc to the mass through the theme "Image Meaning of Amitabha Buddha". The monk stated meaning on the arm of the Amitabha Buddha on picking up of sentient beings on the fruits of four saints (Buddha, Pratyekabuddha, Sravaka Dharma, Bodhisattva). In beginningless lives, people are forever immersed in the sea of love and full-fill pain.
Buddha Amitabha personally accepted the mission of leading sentient beings, but His children who were still greedy for play did not turn back. Cultivators practice the section of Pure Land and believe that the Buddha is waiting to welcome us to there (faith), to diligently recite the name of Buddha (Practice) and to aspire to be born in the Buddha realm (Vow). When we have enough these three elements, we will definitely be born to the world of Buddha. Let us awaken soon, realize the suffering, don't wallow in pain forever, return to the Buddha realm soon.
The ceremony closed in respect image of the Buddha's disciples toward to the Father Amitabha.
