The fourth day at the Summer retreat of Tay Khanh Pagoda

In the morning of July 2nd, 2019 (lunar May 30th, the Pig year), entered the fourth day of the Tay Khanh pagoda, the attendees were exchanged with linguist lecturer Tran Thi Minh Hai.

During the talk, she instructed about communication skills such as pronunciation skills, speaking skills, correct local pronunciation, body language... By humor and witty interpretation, she brought comfortable and fun atmosphere to all participants.

In the afternoon of the same day, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tien, a student at Harvard University, USA had a conversation to share with young cultivators about learning and its methods. Through the topic of Learn Fast And Smart, the monk especially emphasized the words "FAST" to all of participants with explanations as: F (Forget), A (Active), S (State) and T (Teach). According to the Master, "FAST" can be poor, miserable, difficult, successful; "FAST" can also be happy or devoted ... all results come from thinking in ourselves.

At the end of the talk, the monk spent some time answering some of their questions, sharing a little experience of studying in the United States of America.

In the evening, monks organized a gratitude ceremony. Through that, the Sangha reminded awareness of the great merit of the parents, and practicing about the filial piety to the attendees. In particular, on this night of gratitude, the abbot of Tay Khanh Pagoda also expressed grateful mind to his mother.
