On Sep. 10th, 2017 (lunar July 20th, Rooster Year) Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh and the delegation of the monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda arrived to Cambodian Kingdom to attend the great Ullambana at Cambodia Hoang Phap Pagoda.

The mass sincerely worshiped the Triratna’s great support, so that the construction will be soon finished. Hoping the monks and Buddhists Vietnamese, who are living in Cambodia, quickly have a solemn and pure pagoda for their cultivated refuges.
At 9h A.M, the program of great Ullambana ceremony officially began under the witness of Venerable Monks, Nuns and attendances over 800 hundreds Buddhists of two nations Vietnam – Cambodia.
After the rite of reciting the Buddha‘s name for support, declaration of reason, introducing the program and guests, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Truc read the opening speech. On Dharma preaching for the ceremony, Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap, on behalf of current Sanghas, praised the spirit of all mass’d behavior and mind and accepted the alms.
Besides, the Senior Ven. conveyed his concern on this trip: a majority of the youth and children Vietnamese in Cambodia have not been prepared for their study. How will be able to live in future! Last generations have been in difficult situations of without education; the next ones will be the same as their parents when their life is also unsafe, hopelessly aimless, does not escape frompoverty and ignorance. We have to think, do, speak something which helps the Vietnamese in Cambodia that they would get a living better. For this result, the children have to learn carefully. It is a problem that Buddhists should be interested!
Mixing the program were the singing performances which were shown by the Vietnamese and Cambodian singers. The last of program is the course of chanting Ullambana sutra and it helps the mass toward their mind to dad and mum.
