The repentant Ceremony on November 30th, Pig Year

On December 25th, 2019 (November 30th, Pig Year) all Buddhists inside and outside Ho Chi Minh City came to Hoang Phap Pagoda to attend the regular ceremony of repentance.

Before entering the ceremony, everybody listened to the Dharma talk from Junior Venerable Thich Tam Thu on Thinking about the Death. 

Life in the world with worries, sorrows, sickness, old age and death has caused human suffering. Generally, humans are ruled by the laws of birth and death. Death will come to each person as a certain matter; It cannot bargain or wait for anyone, anything. Therefore, every day, we need to contemplate death in order to prepare psychology as well as create preparatory material for the next journey of ourselves. 

By quoting in the Dhammapada scriptures, the Venerable helped the public to more clearly understand the necessary for visualizing death as well as recognizing the impermanence, the laws of birth and death, also non-ego of life.  Therefore, we can live ethically, from which each person will know how to cherish his body and life as well as cultivate the wisdom career, also serve for human life.

After the Dharma talk, the mass entered the repentant ceremony as usual.
