The sparkling night of transferring light on the day of Amitabha"s Birthday at Hoa Phuc Pagoda – Ha Noi

On November 28th, Rooster Year (on January 1st, 2018), Monks and Buddhists at Hoa Phuc Pagoda – Hoa Thach Ward – Quoc Oai District – Ha Noi City held the great festival day of transferring light to celebrate the Amitabha’ birthday. In this joyful atmosphere, there were thousands of attendants taking part in this event
At 2 p.m., under the instruction of Junior Ven Thich Tam Hoa - Abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda - chief of the organizing board, Buddhists attended the course of thanking the Altar for Amitayus Sutras. The Thanking Sutras was established, and recited by Bodhimandala during every night of a month.
When the landscape was covered by the dark, the Dharma’s nimbus was becoming brighter, that was the moment Amitabha’s Birthday recited to welcome the calm footsteps of the monks reaching the celebration – to celebrate the Amitabha’ birthday.
To open the event, the Monks incensed ritual of Buddha, which prayed for the Buddha depending upon this celebration. In the earnestliness of the lyrics “The Amitabha Buddha’s Lantern Lighting†Song, the Junior Venerable came closer the stage to receive the light of compassionate and wisdom at the altar with his steadfast wish. “I pledge that I could be inherited and widespread Saddharma, which could devote his intelligence and mercy to lead the people who have lost their way in this suffering worldliness so as to see Amitabha’ light and would be on the same way to the Pure Landâ€.
In the solemn and marvellous scene, under the instruction of the monks, all the Buddhists together prayed 48 Great Vows to gratefully the Moral of Amitabha in order to remind ourselves to backtrack the reality to focus on practice, bringing up, increasing wishes after death, so that we could live in his world.
In that sacred moment, Monk Thich Quang Truc is a young priest who is trying hard day by day to be on the enlightening boat to be back in Visesa and native land of Amitabha. On this occasion, he offered his impression to Amitabha as well.
Under the Blessing of Buddha’s ten directions and the witness of Monks, Nuns, the respectful, auxiliary condition of a thousand Buddhists for this ceremony; therefore, it was finished in boundless joy.
