The third retreat of “Learning as the Buddha‘s practice” at Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa Province.

Amitabha Buddha symbolizes noble virtue qualities, such as endless compassion, entireness wisdom. He is a moral support that helps beings return to rely, transfer inner mind which leads to peacefulness, happiness on this life.

Remembering to the Buddha, on the yearly lunar November, the practioners of the Pure Land sect always celebrate the ceremony of commemorating and show the garateful mind to that endless merit. This makes the nation’s honorablely moral tradition ceremony.

Harmony with joyful atmosphere of welcoming birthday of the Buddha Ammitabha, in spite of weather on the winter, but overcoming all, the monks and Buddhist of Dong Cao Pagoda were preparing to decorate and construct the rostrum for congratulation. Particularly, on this occasion, pagoda organized the 3rd retreat of “Learning as the Buddha‘s practice” from Dec. 30th, 2017 to Jan. 3rd, 2018 (lunar Nov. 13th to 17th, Rooster Year).

On the morning of Dec. 30th, 2017 Junior Thich Tam Hiep and Thich Tam Dieu, the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda instructed in necessary dignities to present Buddhists. Next, Junior Thich Tam Hung, the Chief of organization board, announced retreat’s goal, instructed the cultivation’s schedule and obligatory rules to Buddhists so that they could perceive peace and contentment in cultivation days. On the morning of Dec. 31st, 2017, Junior Thich Tam Hung preached a dharma talk about the theme “The Sect of Purd Land.” By friendly and simple words, the Junior explained clearly about what is the Pure Land? People who pray to be borned into that realm must have delight in this life and try to construct this world’s becoming a pure land where everybody is also happy and study Buddha’s dharma.
