On September 2nd, 2017 (July 12th, Rooster year) Tay Khanh Pagoda, Cao Mai Village, Quang Hung Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province celebrated the great Ullambana for pious gratitude in a dignified, respectful atmosphere.

Before the ceremony, Junior Venerable Thich Dao Quang had the Dharma with the Buddhists. In the time of the dharma, he reminded the merit of birth giving and up-bringing from their ancestors and parents. On duty of a child, we could not only repay enough their merits by material support, but also guide parents to go to the pagoda, rely on Three Jewels to have happiness in this life and the next life.

During the ceremony, on behalf of the mass, the Buddhist children of Tay Khanh Pagoda celebrated the ceremony of offering flowers to the ten directions of three Jewels and the monks of the Sangha. The ceremony’s important, moved section is the ceremony of pinning roses for parents in their deep emotion. Thanks   to the blessings of the ten directions of Buddha, the testimony of the Buddhist monks, the mass celebrated the ceremony of giving repentance to their parents. After the repentance, on behalf of all, the teenaged Buddhists of Tay Khanh Pagoda honorably offered alms to the venerables.

On the dharma talk for the ceremony, Venerable Thich Tam Kinh - the abbot   of Tay Khanh Pagoda, on behalf of all the monks, received the gifts and praised to all Buddhists who followed dutiful exemplarity of sage Mahamaudgalyayana.

At the end of the ceremony, as usual, it is the time of Vu Lan chanting. Everyone commemorates the infinite merit of father's   and mother's.
