The Ullambana dharma assembly of filial piety at Dong Cao Pagoda

The morning of July 15th, Year of Mouse is the last day of the Ullambana rite in 2020 (starting from July 1st, Year of Mouse) at Dong Cao pagoda to sow good seeds for Buddhists, express gratitude to present parents and deceased ancestors in the grateful ceremony in this year.
At 8:00 am, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, the abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda instructed all Buddhists to chant Ksihitigarbha Bodhisattva of sutras, solemnly to create merit to their ancestors and parents. Before that, the group had a trip releasing creatures at Hung Long River
On this occasion, the representative of the local government led by Mr. Pham Ba Bon, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nga Yen Commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province and local residents returned to the pagoda to attend the Ullambana's ceremony in 2020.
Welcoming the delegation, the monk paid tribute to the local leaders and spoke about the temple's activities during this Vu Lan season. Next, the Venerable guided the delegation to offer incense and pray in the Three Jewels, Ksihitigarbha.
The mass recited the sutra Eightfold Path. Next, it is the offering of rice to the spirits, ancestors, the sudden dead, the unnamed fetus of the families who have registered to offer at the temple.
In the afternoon, the rite of transmitting the Three Refuge and Five Precepts is held for Buddhists. After the Venerable abbot lit incenses to the Buddha, the representative Buddhist offered his words to invite the Sangha to transmit the precepts.
The Junior Ven. joyful accepted and guided Three Precepts and Five Precepts in mindful mindfulness, some necessary postures for lay Buddhists. This occasion, the Ven. gave gifts of dharma, including book of Buddha Dharma to save my life to all new refugees.
At 4:30 p.m., the monk held a rite of almsgiving to alone souls and gave thanks to the Ullambana’s dharma assembly in 2020. He sent 22 gift portions, including 1 bottle of oil, 1kg of sugar, 1 box of noodles, and an envelope of 200,000 VND to needy residents in and outside the locality.
This year's pious season took place in the warmth of monks and disciples and is also full of humanity and lofty.
