The wedding ceremony at Dong Cao Pagoda – Thanh Hoa province

The wedding at pagoda is the national culture's symbol. Moreover, it usefully expands the wisdom foundation and spiritual role, orientating people who live beneficially in the life of family and society. As a result, it effectively contributes to the country. All Buddhists, who hold their marriages at pagoda is a sacred happiness.
In the witness of Triratna and relevant families, they performed the wedding rite of worshiping to the Three Jewel and parents, gave their wedding rings and had a vow that they will live together faithfully and keep on the moral precepts of the Buddha’s teachings.
At the wedding ceremony, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, on behalf of the present monks, guided ethic words to the couple.
In his preaching, the decisive factor for a warm house is the harmony; the family gets concord it will get a delight and easily educate their children. In Buddhism, the Buddha taught His disciples the goal that is aimed at the community’s peace and harmony. When they apply these ones to marrial life, they will achieve a durable and long happiness.
In particular, during the ceremony, the mass chanted the recitation of Sigalovada sutta (worship in the six direction sutra) a to bless the young couple. After that, the Junior Abbot Ven instructed two families and guests to perform the ritual of freeing creatures in order to spread the love to all beings.
At the end of the ceremony, the monk gave dharma gifts to the mass.
