The wedding at pagoda is the expressive symbol of national culture. Moreover, it usefully expands the wisdom foundation and spiritual role, orientating people who beneficially live in the life of family and society. As a result, it effectively contributes to the country. The rite is a flexible mixing between the cultural tradition, nation’s ethics and Buddhism’s spiritual culture. This is a beautiful image of culture in the married field of Buddhist commune.
All Buddhists, who hold their marriages at pagoda, is a sacred happiness. In the witness of Triratna and relevant families, the bride and groom had a vow that they together will live faithfully and keep on the moral precepts of the Buddha’s teachings.
After the wedding rite of offering insence to the Buddha, on behalf of two families, they had a speech, gave their wedding rings, etc.
At the wedding ceremony, Venerable Thich Tam Hung guided two families together with Buddhist disciples to celebrate the birth of aquatic species, sowing compassion for all species, making the ceremony even more meaningful
The decisive factor for a warm house is the harmony; meanwhile, that a wife gets concord to her husband, family members will get along well with each other, parents well educate their children, will train next generations to be more moral and better. In Buddhism, six concepts of getting along from the Buddha taught His disciples the goal that is aimed at the community’s peace and harmony. When they apply these ones to marrial life, they will achieve a durable and long happiness.
