As the poem of the Most Master composed:
“A filial heart has filial acts first,

Reminding the importance of filial piety is the core quality of human morality and Buddhist teachings. Ullambana season is an occasion for each person to remember the birth and upbringing of their parents, an opportunity to practice filial piety by specific actions, such as showing gratitude, supporting and praying for the well-being of their parents, both present and past. Filial piety is not only in the mind but must also be expressed by conducts, living responsibly, loving and respecting their parents in every thought, word and deed. Remembering the Buddha's teachings, the filial one always remembers and do filial piety by mindfulness in their lifestyle, compassion in their mind, guiding their parents to do kindly, avoid evil, living a good, meaningful life; Also know to practice and guide their parents to practice together to progress on the spiritual path, which is the most profound way to show filial piety.
After the dharma talk, the participants chanted the Ullambana sutra in the ritual.
Contributing to the program's success were the lyric songs by singers: singer Sa Huynh, performing traditional musical instruments - artist Van Anh....
Participating in the great ceremony, the monks gave each Buddhist a gift of Dharma books.
