It is the time to welcome Ullambana ceremony.

To remember parents’ gratitude

Sobbing in my heart full of tears

 When the wind of Autumn slightly blows  on a quiet river surface, yellow leaves fall down in each of rain drop, it is the time of an Ullambana season returning on Viet Nam country again, so, Buddha’s children honestly remember the gratitude of their parents.

It is the chance to express their pious mind toward their parents. Therefore, though the material facilities of two pagodas were in dissufficientcy, the venerables decisively organized the great Ullambana ceremony with all rituals such as offering of six items, robes, pinning roses.

Showing gratitude is a sacred duty of all people, both the East and Western; the past or the present, none of pious children do not remember to the gratitude of their parents. However, their expressing and performing belong to the civilized level and habitual custom of each nation causing the differences.

In Viet Nam, thanks to affecting of Ullambana sutra, on lunar July 15th yearly becomes a good traditional holiday of the nation. It is the noble chance for pious children to repay their gratitude mind toward their parents’ immeasurable merit.
