Ullumbana Ceremony at Dong Cao Pagoda – Thanh Hoa.

In the pleasure of the grateful benefactor in Ullumbana Ceremony, the support of the local authorities and Buddhists near and far, Cao Dong Pagoda of Yen Khoai village, Nga Yen commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province has held a solemn Ullambana celebration in August 22 and 23, 2015 (July 9th and 10th, year of the Goat).

In the evening of August 22nd, 2015 (July 9th and 10th, year of the Goat), in the witness of Venerables and the presence of Buddhists, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hung, head of the organizing committee held the Requiem for ancestors of many lives, martyrs, anonymous dead fetuses of many families.

In the morning of August 23rd , 2015 (July 10th, year of the Goat), the Pogoda held a There refuges for nearly 300 credit good men and believing women by the guidance of junior Venerable Thich Tam Trong and Junior Venerable Thich Trung Dat, the Buddhists better understand of fundamental concepts such as Refuge, Five Precepts, Repentance and duties of a Buddhist at home ......

The same day, in the ceremony for forsanke spirits, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hung donated more than 200 gifts to poor and single relatives of Buddhist families in Nga Son District.

That night, monks and Buddhist relatives of Cao Dong pagoda had candlelight ceremony showing gratitude to their father and mother. The ceremony left much emotional to participants.
