On the August 14th 2015 (on July 12th , Lunar Monkey year) Quoc Thoi pagoda at An Hoa hamlet, Long Thoi commune, Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province officially organized Ullambana celebration.

To celebrate the ceremony, the Hoang Phap pagoda‘s Buddhists and monks had arrived early before one day to organize and prepare for the young team offering robe and pinning flowers ...


The ceremony became solemn and formal under the witness of Senior Venerables as the Board demonstrators of Buddhism at Cho Lach District, abbot monks, nuns from local pagodas, delegates of the government levels at Long Thoi commune Cho Lach District, HCMC and local Buddhists attended the ceremony.


The ceremony started to the part of pinning flowers, its meaning and offering robes. Then, the song “The meaning of pinning rose flowers” of the monks Thich Minh Gioi which was performed by Dao Vu Thanh. Next, the ceremony program were the witness Senior’s dharma teachings and the authority deputy‘s speech Cho Lach province.


 In the end of ceremony was the ritual of chanting Ullambana sutra, luncheon, finishing.
