Witnessing Hang Thuan Ceremony (A Wedding At Pagoda)

In a very tranquil and peaceful air, under the blessing of Buddhas of the ten directions and the witness of present Venerables, the wedding was taken place solemnly. After incensing to Buddha, new bride and groom together with their families had the Venerables witness the wedding and give useful dharma on this special day.
Responding to this petition, on behalf of all present monks, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh gave a compliment to both families for their belief in Buddhism by holding wedding at pagoda. He also gave some pieces of advice to the new couple.
The six-harmony spirit is taught by Buddha to all the followers on purpose of living a happy life together. They are living together, blending debates, cooperating ideas, balancing benefits. In any organization, if this spirit is applied, permanent development will be achieved.
A family living with the six harmony spirit, happiness will exist around them. It is good that a husband and wife know how to listen to, respect each other; children practice their role, respect and obey their parents, grandparents, old generation in family shows their care and gives good teaching to young members. Every member in family practices the six harmonies and five percepts will become a kind person. A family is a social cell; therefore, happy and well off family results in developing and prosperous society.
After that, the Senior identified a new couple a marriage certificate and gifts.
