Student s’ Retreat: “Coming and Listening”

On Mar. 9 – 10th, 2019 at Hoa Phuc pagoda (in Hoa Thach commune, Quoc Oai town, Ha Noi city) there was a students’ retreat: “Coming and Listening” for over 100 students from Hanoi’s universities.

The retreat was the regular one directly organized by Junior Venerable (Jun. Ven.) Thich Tam Hoa, the abbot of Hoa Phuc temple. In the retreat, young people attended a tea meditation: “Listening and Understanding”, then Question & Answer about Buddhism and in their life.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa, Junior Ven. Thich Nguyen Loc and the monks at Hoa Phuc pagoda shared with young people and brought them peaceful energy and positive thinking.

In addition, young people had a chance to meet a business woman Do Thuy Duong, a Vice President of Hanoi Entrepreneur Women, a Director of Talent Pool company. In the warm atmosphere, questions about psychology, career paths, love were smartly answered in order to help young people fully understand and solve their problems.

That over 80 young people took refuge with the Triple Jewels with Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hoa’s instruction was a meaningful session to help them understand more about relying on Buddha – Dharma – Monks and spiritual refuge for each Buddhists.

At the end, there were some mini game shows to challenge young people’s intelligence and have fun.
