1st Summer Retreat 2023 at Tam Phap Pagoda in Binh Phuoc

Over 40 little cultivators in the local gathered at Tam Phap Pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's sect) in Binh Phuoc to attend a Summer Retreat named Youth connecting to good conditions on July 21st-23rd, 2023 (June 04th – June 06th, the Cat Year).

In the retreat, little participants heard from the teachings of venerable monks: Junior Thich Tam Duyet – Chief Organizers - Abbot of Tam Phap Pagoda; Junior Thich Tam Trieu; Junior Thich Tam Huynh; Junior Thich Tam Hoan

During three days of Summer Retreat, the young can participate in many useful activities and programs such as:

Monks taught about cause and effect, how to love and be filial to grandparents and parents; let go of bad actions and actively do good deeds to get good causes and good results in life; study the Three Refuges - Five Precepts; Reciting sutras, such as: Repaying merit to parents, Blessings, and Singalovada; Meditate to quiet body-mind, perceive ourselves from insign to help clear mind, increase its ability to concentrate, think, and be creative in learning.

Little attendees have opportunities to exchange, have fun, and compete with their friends in Gameshow to create motivation, study and practice more in the future.

Thanks to monks’ inner wishes for the young generations that little learners have harvested knowledge, helping them to cultivate wisdom, awaken and loving hearts.

The Summer Retreat2023  takes place in a short time, monks hope the retreat’s good values will be further spread in the future, so that this place will become the second school of generations of pupils - students in every summer will not be missed.

The retreat ended with the joy of the students and their parents.
