A Letter to my Master
Update: 12/01/2012
It was my pleasure and good luck to be here and I feel quite joyful and choked up with both emotion and great happiness when I was able to meet you, a revered genuine monk that I have admired and desired to see in person.
Namo Amitabha Buddha.
\r\nDear my master!
\r\n\r\n
It was my pleasure and good luck to be here and I felt quite\r\njoyful and choked up with both emotion and great happiness when I was able to\r\nmeet you, a revered genuine monk that I have admired and desired to see in\r\nperson for a long time. It gave us a great pleasure to prostrate ourselves\r\nbefore you and make some offerings so that we can repay the debts of gratitude\r\nthat we owe you for teaching and saving us from sufferings. We will be\r\ndelighted if you accept them and that will give us a chance of making some\r\nmerit and reducing the bad effect of the bad karma that we have created in the\r\nuncountable past lives due to ignorance so far because you are the embodiment\r\nof the genuine monk of divine wisdom.
\r\n\r\n
Although the items that we offered you have minor material\r\nsignificance, they show the respect and gratitude towards you from the bottom\r\nof our heart. Its the two words "Dear Master!" that we want to call\r\nout thousands of times for our desire satisfaction. After watching the Buddhist\r\nrecords released by the Hoang Phap Pagoda I realize that your love for the\r\nsentient beings is certainly more overwhelming than that of the parents for\r\ntheir children that I dont have enough words to describe how overwhelming\r\nit is.
\r\n\r\n
In veneration, may The Three Jewels bless you with good\r\nhealth, sagacious wisdom. We wish you were forever the great elm trees that\r\ngave us who are of low spiritual faculty shelter from the storm of life and guide\r\nus to the enlightening path. In addition, may The Three Jewels give\r\nus opportunity to attend the seven-day Buddhist retreat even just for once at\r\nthe sacred Hoang Phap Pagoda so that we can enjoy the "spiritual\r\nfood" - Buddhist dharma, which provides us the strong motivation and\r\nstable faith in the Three Jewels. It has always been our desire to listen to\r\nthe dharma talks, practice the Buddhas teachings, attain liberation and\r\nvow to be reborn in the Realm of Ultimate Bliss where the Buddha Amitabha and\r\nBodhisattvas give dharma lectures all the time.
\r\n\r\n
The image of Hoang Phap Pagoda is always in our mind and\r\nheart. In my hearts core I respectfully request that you facilitate\r\nthe cultivation at the pagoda for our wish fulfillment. May your Boat Of\r\nCompassion carry all of us through the ocean of sufferings and break through\r\nthe darkness of ignorance in the Saha world. In the witness of The Three\r\nJewels, we vow to practice diligently, follow your footsteps on the way to\r\nenlightenment. May The Three Jewels bear witness to our sincerity and bless us.\r\nAlso, may your dharma propagation be successfully accomplished and your\r\n"boat" saves many beings that drift and sinkin the ocean of\r\nsufferings.
\r\n\r\n
Finally, I would like to express a great amount of our\r\nsincere gratitude to you by a Vietnamesefolk song lyric: "Please dont\r\nleave us. You are my Noble Master!"
