A one-day cultivation and a free medical health check-up in Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia

Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia has just been established, so\r\nit has encountered a lot of difficulties and there is a lack of\r\nfacilities.However, with the compassionate heart of Sen. Venerable Thich Chan\r\nTinh- The Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Vietnam and enthusiasm of the Venerable\r\nThich Tam Truc – the Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia, on Sunday in the\r\nsecond week of the month, the pagoda organized a one-day retreat for overseas\r\nVietnamese and Cambodian in this area to practice .
\r\n\r\nIn this retreat, Venerable Thich Tam Truc gave a\r\nBuddha Dharma talk to everybody titled: "Invaluable Properties".
\r\n\r\nThose who obtain the right understanding, wisdom, virtue and\r\nfaith are the people of rich spiritual insightsin\r\nthe Buddha world.
\r\n\r\nRight understanding is using the Three\r\nDharma Seals to light up our daily life. People who have the right\r\nunderstanding deeply understand about the Fouth Noble Truth, Twelve Causes and\r\nConditions, Causation Karma, The Requisites of Enlightenment are\r\nimbued with law of cause and effect , the good and evil . People who gain\r\nright understanding will have treasure in hand, and poverty will\r\ndissipate.
\r\n\r\nSecondly, we should aim at the attainment of\r\nwisdom through practice, the true nature of life and recognize own inborn\r\nwisdom . In reality, some who are engrossed in cultivation for blessings and\r\nneglect the wisdom cultivation are like a big elephant that wears a pearl\r\nnecklace. Wisdom is formed by hearing and thinking then those\r\nthoughts are put into cultivation and help the practitioners achieve\r\nThe Right Understanding.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nVirtuous people tend to treat adversity, discontent and\r\naffliction on the basis of compassion, casual law and patience. The\r\npractitioner needs to accumulate merit, cultivate virtue and practice the Four\r\nImmeasurable Minds, the Four means of salvation, Six virtues of perfection.
\r\n\r\nHe also stressed that Faithfulness is one of the seven\r\ntreasures of Enlightened Beings (Seven Treasures of Enlightened\r\nBeings : Faithfulness, Shamefulness , moral dread, morality, Broad\r\nknowledge Renunciation, and Wisdom). The Buddhists should place\r\ntheir stable faith in the Three Jewels, law of cause and effect and law of\r\nkarma The faith of people is easily shaken by wealth, power and\r\nauthority, so beware of the hook of temptation.
\r\n\r\nIn the afternoon, the Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia\r\ncooperated with the group of doctors from Quoc Anh hospital (Ho Chi Minh city) led\r\nby Nguyen Thi Lien- the director of Hai Phuong roof tiles Factory as the\r\ncharity group leader, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan as vice group leader, Ven. Minh Dang\r\nand philanthropists. They examined and treated poor people in inner city of\r\nPhnom Penh. In addition, the team also gave drug to 700 people in the region.\r\nThe total cost is 270 million VND.
\r\n\r\nThe cultivation ended in the joy of the Buddhists in the\r\narea and people expected philanthropists to be more concerned about the\r\nVietnamese living in Cambodia and share difficulties with the poor here.
