Affairs preparing for the Candle Lighting Ceremony to commemorate Amitabha Buddha

The Amitabha Buddha anniversary has been a traditional beauty for many years at the temple. This is an opportunity for the Buddha's disciples, especially those who follow the Pure Land sect to review and learn the merit of Amitabha Buddha, expressing gratitude on the occasion of His Birthday.

To serve for this great ceremony (Dec. 17th, 2024; Nov. 17th, Lunar calendar) will be solemn and respectful, monks and devout Buddhists are going to prepare very early for the complete design, decoration, setting up the stage; the atmosphere in the temple yard these days has begun to become livelier... even though work is quite busy, clothes are full of sweat, but on each volunteer's face there is always a smile of happiness.

 

 

 * Hope for the Great ceremony to succeed, the Organizers need the contribution and cooperation of all Buddhists.
