Ancestor Anniversary at Tây Khánh Pagoda in Thái Bình Province

In the morning of December 3rd, 2017 (July October 15th, Rooster year) Tay Khanh Pagoda, Cao Mai Village, Quang Hung Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province solemnly celebrated the 28th Late Most Senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu’s Death Ceremony – Hoang Phap pagoda founder.
The ceremony was solemnly organized under the witness of the Senior Venerable Thich Thanh Dinh – Permanent Deputy of Buddhist regional organization of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thái Bình province with abbots from many pagodas and monasteries, Delegates, and Buddhists far and near.
In the solemn atmosphere of solemn affection, the Senior Venerable Thich Tam Quan, on behalf of the Dharma followers, reverently proclaimed the biography of Late Most Senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu, reviewing the highlights of his life.
On behalf of the monks and nuns at the ceremony, Senior Venerable Thich Thanh Dinh had some words of Buddist monks to the entire Ashram. The monk praised the gratitude of the Dharma followers for the grace of the Founder. Through His life, the Senior Venerable encouraged Buddhists to follow the ancestor’s example to live well, keep good practice on five precepts, and benefit ourselves, family and society.
After the words of Buddist monks is the ritual, the religious monks and nuns with Buddhist layers chanted with all their heart. The ceremony ended in joy of all.
In this event, attendees were given a DVD of “Late Most Senior Venerable Ngo Chan Tu’s Death Ceremony 2016â€.
