In the Mangala Sutta (38- Discourse on Blessings), the Buddha taught:

“Respect and humility,
Gratitude and thankfulness,
Listening to the Dharma at the right time 
These are the highest blessings.”

 

On the occasion of 2025 Lunar New Year, Hoang Phap Pagoda is pleased to organize three learning sessions “Applied Buddha Dharma Propagation” with the theme: “The Ten Wholesome Actions That Bring Blessings.” These sessions will be directly taught by the monks of the pagoda. This class is a precious opportunity for those with affinity and good roots to gain a correct understanding of the Buddha’s teachings, learn practical methods to live mindfully and with awakening, and generate daily joy through the Dharma. It also provides a sacred occasion to visit the temple, pay homage to the Buddha, celebrate the Lunar New Year in the serene and pure atmosphere of the monastery, cultivate collective practice with the Sangha, and increase one’s merit, wisdom, and unwavering faith in the Triple Gem.

 

These Dharma sessions are entirely free and do not require prior registration. We kindly ask participants to arrive 20 minutes early to settle in before the class begins.

 

Specifically, on the afternoon of the 3rd day of Tet (Friday, January 31, 2025), the “Applied Dharma Propagation” class will organize a visit to express gratitude to Most Thich Chan Tinh, the Master of Hoang Phap Pagoda.
