Assembly for anniversary Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at Linh An Pagoda

On July 17, 2022 (June 19th, LC), Buddhists gathered at Linh An Pagoda in Taipei - Taiwan to attend the assembly commemorating Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's enlightenment (June 19th, LC).

In the morning, Buddhists return to the temple to do volunteer deeds, help clean up the areas in the temple and prepare food together.

At 10:30 a.m., the mass gathered in the main hall to chant sutras and offer lunch. After that, the practitioners had a lunch together

In the afternoon, the rite began with the chanting of the chapter of Universal door of the Lotus Sutra. After that, the monks talked about the Buddha's teachings and answered the questions that Buddhists had when they first started studying Buddhism.

At the end of the practice day, the mass recited the food offering ritual for lonely souls and then delivered the items to the homeless at Taipei Station.
