Attending The Founder 's death anniversary of Quang Duc pagoda in Can Tho of the Charity Board

On Dec. 6th, 2023 (Oct. 24th, LC), Junior Thich Tam Hue, Head of Charity Board, Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda and Minh Chat Ashram, Can Tho prepared alms giving and money to go to Quang Duc pagoda to make offerings to the 33rd death anniversary of Late Most Thich Buu Lai, the Founder of Quang Duc Pagoda, Ninh Kieu, Can Tho.

Many monks and nuns, Buddhists from Soc Trang, Can Tho, Hau Giang and Bac Lieu provinces also attended the ceremony.

In 1991, Junior Thich Tam Hue was transmitted Three refuge and Five precepts by Most Thich Buu Lai with the religious name Minh Chat. 2007, Buddhist Minh Chat was ordained at Hoang Phap pagoda and given the name Thich Tam Hue, up to now, it's been 16 years.

By gratitude to the Master, Junior Thich Tam Hue, together with his followers have returned to the pagoda to offer up incense, commemorating the virtuous founder.

At the rite, the mass listened to the history of life and religious career of Most Thich Buu Lai by the Senior Abbot. Next, the participants went to Patriarch’s Stupa to commemorate and go around the Stupa.

At the end of the rite, monks and Buddhists offered incense to Him. On this occasion, the group offered almsgiving and had a luncheon.
