Blood Donation

Blood is the most valuable biological item that helps maintaining human health/life without any substitute. According to doctors, many people need blood transfusions due to blood loss during traffic/labor accidents or injuries ... Hence blood donation is not only people’s noble activity but also the urgent need of hospitals.
More than 200 blood units have been taken during the campaign from kind people who are ready to sacrifice and share the most precious part of the body to save others’ lives. This is more likely Bodhisattva’s heart/activity in Buddhism. Giving blood does not have any adverse effect to donor; vice versa, it will help refresh the blood in the body, make donor healthier, more optimistic, and enjoy a meaningful/happy life with good contributions to the community.
