Buddha bathing ceremony - Opening of the Buddha's Birthday week at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

In the joyful welcome of Shakyamuni Buddha Birthday of million of Buddhist disciples around the world, Hoa Phuc Pagoda (Quoc Oai district - Hanoi) solemnly chanted the "Buddha's Birthday Ritual" and held the Buddha Bathing Ceremony on the morning of May 8, 2022 (April 8th, LC).

The Buddha's Birthday in this year took place in the new normal period of the pandemic, so it was attended by a large number of Buddhists after a long time of distance and restrictions due to the epidemic.

On behalf of the Monks of Hoa Phuc Pagoda, Junior Abbot Thich Tam Hoa praised and acknowledged the merits of all Buddhists:

- Team Secretariat and Team Leaders

- Kitchen Team and all Buddhists

- Buddhist youth group

- Together with all Buddhists everywhere present in the ceremony.

The Buddha Bathing ritual will continue to take place during the Buddha's birthday week in the mornings from 8:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m on May 9 - May 15, 2022 (April 9 - April 15, LC).
