Buddhadharma Conversation at Hoang Phap pagoda

In order to help the Buddhists in the pagoda cultivate basic teachings, on June 30, 2021 (May 22, LC), the monks opened a dharma consultancy class in the form of Q&A and explanations based on each participant's different awareness.

This is an opportunity for us to learn from each other, share our understanding of basic doctrine and experience of practicing the Buddha's teachings in life. Discussion knowledge gives practical benefits not only during volunteer acting at the temple but also spreading out family, friends and people around.

At this time, the Monks surveyed the wishes and aspirations of Buddhists about upcoming Dharma lessons to respond to the needs and expectations of listeners.

The Dharma conversations will take place on the evening of every Wednesday, Friday weekly. Junior Thich Tam Tri and Junior  Thich Tam Duoc are in charge of these discussions.

At the first session, the mass exchanged and mentioned 3 main issues:

1. Why do we follow Buddhism? What are the benefits of following Buddhism? To those benefits, how will we apply it to our living?

2. What should we study and practice when just knowing Buddhism so that we can apply it when we come back to our home?

3. Why do we need to take refuge in the Three Jewels and keep five precepts?

After each participant's answer, monks have added and corrected it to suit the Buddha's teachings.
