Buddha's Birthday celebration at An Son pagoda, Quang Ngai

In the atmosphere of celebrating the Buddha's birth in all regions of the country, this is an occasion for the Buddha's disciples to pay respect to Shakyamuni Buddha, review his life, vows, and teachings to live in the midst of the world. Before that sacred spirit, An Son pagoda (Quang Ngai province) is led by Junior Thich Tam Khuyen, the abbot, solemnly held the Buddha's Birthday on the morning of May 15, 2022 (April 15, LC) with more than 160 Buddhists attending.

At the ceremony, two lines of Buddhists clasped their hands dignifiedly bowing to Junior Thich Tam Khuyen shares Buddhism. The monk with the audience reviewed the Buddha's life, as well as the meaning of His birth date.

After that, the monks together with the mass officially celebrated the birthday rite and the Buddha bathing ceremony according to the spiritual traditions.

The ceremony ended with the joy of everyone.
