Buddha's Birthday Celebration at Phuc Lac Pagoda, Nghe An

Recently, Phuc Lac Pagoda (Nghe An) solemnly held the Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist Calendar 2566, Solar Calendar 2022 in harmony with the joyful atmosphere of millions of His disciples across five continents.

Before the ceremony, members of Buddhist Youth Club and Bodhi Mind Charity Team organized a bicycle parade to celebrate this great event.

All of the bicycles follow each other with colorful flags and flowers, creating a beautiful picture of a peaceful village

The main ceremony begins at 19:00, the Organizers prepare quite elaborately with many special programs. More than 2,000 men and women Buddhists gathered to attend and filled the whole ground. When the ceremony was held for half the time, heavy rain began to fall, causing the program to be shortened a bit to ensure the attendance's health.

Although there were a few obstacles to the ceremony, the delegates and Buddhists who attended and remained until the end to perform the ritual of sacred Buddha bathing and gilding the newborn statue as desired for a happy Buddha's birthday will come everywhere.
