Buddha's Birthday Ceremony at Lam Phat pagoda, Lam Dong

On May 26th, 2023 (April 07th, LC), Lam Phat ashram (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) in Lam Dong province managed by Junior Thich Tam Dai solemnly held the great ceremony of Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist calendar 2567.

Before the beginning ceremony, Junior Thich Tam An came to share the dharma teachings to the mass.

After a dharma talk, the Sangha came to witness the great ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Senior Thich Minh Quang, Head of Director Board (DB) of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Lam Ha district, Junior Thich Tam An – Abbot of Hung Phap Pagoda - Dong Nai; venerable monks and nuns residing in Lam Ha district, representatives of local government Departments, and more than 600 male and female Buddhist attended the event.

Next, the representative of the Red Cross Association’s Executive Board in Lam Ha district presented a Certificate "Golden Heart Recognition" to Lam Phat ashram’s Junior Thich Tam Dai who had made many contributions to the charity activities in Lam Ha district in 2023.

After the ceremony, the participants enjoyed a warm vegetarian buffet in the cocultivation relationship.
