Buddha's Birthday Ceremony at Quang Phap pagoda, Tay Ninh

At exactly 8:00 a.m., Buddhists clasped their hands dignifiedly, inviting Venerable Thich Dao Quang - Lecturer at the Intermediate School of Buddhism in Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces to share the Buddha's teachings on Vesak.
At exactly 9:am, in the resounding Buddha's recitation of the ashram, the Sangha came to witness the ceremony.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the monks recited Buddha's name to pray for blessings. Then, there is the statement of reason, introduction of the program and participants.
Junior Thich Tam Thach has announced the opening speech; Junior Thich Tam Tri has declared the meaning of Buddha's Birthday.
On behalf of the monks at present, Junior Thich Tam Huyen, General demandments' Monitor of Hoang Phap pagoda had dharma words for the ceremony.
On the government side, there was the attendance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Giau - Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Mit Commune and local leaders.
In the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Giau gave a congratulatory speech and acknowledged Quang Phap Pagoda ‘s contributions to Buddhists and local people.
Next, on behalf of the Organizers, Junior Thich Tam Thach showed his gratitude to the mass.
The mass performed the Buddha birthday rite, welcoming the anniversary of the Buddha.
Hundreds of Buddhists are very happy to be able to participate in this great holiday.
