Buddhism Wedding Ceremony

Under the witness of Triratna and families, bride and groom perform traditional rituals for Buddhism wedding such as paying homage to Triratna and parents, handing wedding ring to each other and vow to live loyally in marriage life according to Buddha’s teaching.
Venerable Thich Tam Hue, head of charity department of Hoang Phap Pagoda, on behalf of the sangha, sends blessings to the young couple. He also advises them practicing the spirit of KÃ ya SÃ maggi (six good terms for harmony)in marriage life. Besides, Buddhists should preserve the five precepts and apply Buddha's teachings in life for the sake of peace and happiness. Then he presents wedding gift and Buddhism marriage certificate to the just-married couple. The ceremony closes in the joy of all.
