Buddhism Wedding Ceremony

On Jan 25, 2018 (Dec 09, lunar calendar), Hoang Phap Pagoda held Buddhism wedding ceremony for young couples: Groom Dao Tan Nguyen and bride Nguyen Son Ca, groom Nguyen Huy Hao and bride Dinh Thi Hong, groom Tang Hai Hoang Hiep and bride Pham Thi Quynh Anh.

With the witness of Triratna and families, couples performed\r\ntraditional wedding rituals as paying homage to Triratna, kowtowing to express\r\ngratitude to parents’ merits, handing wedding rings and taking the marriage\r\noath living together in the whole life following Buddha’s teachings.

Senior Venerable Abbot Thich Chan Tinh, on behalf of Hoang\r\nPhap Sangha, sent his advices on marriage ethics to young couples. The key\r\npoint for happy marriage is harmonization, the root of peace. Spouses in\r\nharmony can create happy family. Parents and kids in harmony can maintain\r\nfamily morality and tradition. Harmony helps it easy in educating next\r\ngenerations of the family.

In addition, he also reminded young couples having proper\r\npreparation for future. It is taking refuge in Triratna and abiding five\r\nprecepts for lay Buddhists. Each member of the family should constantly\r\ncultivate Dharmic knowledge, be virtuous people, believe in cause and effect\r\nrule. Five precepts for lay Buddhists are the basic morality for human beings.\r\nWhoever preserves these them can have peace in life in present and future.
