Buddhist Conference at Gia Lam Pagoda, Ha Tinh

On morning of Sep. 28th, 2016 (lunar Aug. 28th, monkey Year) Gia Lam Pagoda organized the IIIth Terms of Buddhist Conference in 2016 – 2021 at Thach Ha District.

The ceremony was witnessedbySenior Venerable Thich Chieu Tue, a member of the demonstrating council of the Central of Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam, Chairman of Board Propagation for the Central of Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam, Ha Noi, Junior Thich Hanh Nhan Vice head of the Buddhism in Ha TinhProvince,Secretary General of the Buddhist Association of Vietnam,Hà TĩnhProvince,together with honor monks, nuns from pagodas in Hà TĩnhProvince. Delegates,Deputy of local authorityand Buddhists attended the ceremony.

The Ceremonyhad a speech of general activities of theBuddhist Association on the IIthTerms at Thach HaDistrict. The ceremony gave the Praise and Commendation Certificates to the individuals,groupsof pagodas at local district, where they contributed positivelyon the IIthTerms. Then,Buddhist Association elected the new membersof Chairman of Committee and direction onthe IIIthTerms of Buddhist Congress in 2016 – 2021.
