Buddhist Culture - Cuisine Fair At Pho Quang Temple

For celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha, together with Cultural Board of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoang Phap joined the Buddhist Culture - Cuisine Fair was taken place from October 30th to November 5th, 2016, at Pho Quang temple, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh city.

The Buddhist culture – cuisine fair was organized with the joining of 27 cultural stores and 18 food stores to service all the monks, nuns and lay people. This brings occasion to all the participant outfits in showing their Buddhist means such as sutras; Buddhist books,  newspapers and magazines; recordings; Buddha and Boddhisattva’s images; chanting chains; incenses, lamps for worshipping… The display doesn’t give great attention to the business interests but showing the essence and soul of each temple in daily life. On that spirit, Hoang Phap temple doesn’t pay attention to the sales but the good chance for Dharma spreading and introducing the latest literature to everyone. For the best welcome all people, Hoang Phap has a careful preparation and decoration. In addition, the book named “Religious Studies in Comparison” has been given to all the monks and nuns, and the Dharma gifts including the book “Happiness in Present and Future” and one CD “Toward the Light” was to all the lay people in the fair.
