Buddhist Wedding Ceremony

1. Groom Nguyen Huu Hoang Minh (Duc Tri Tai as Dharma name) and bride Le Thi Tram Anh (Chon Hien Tinh as Dharma name).
2. Groom Nguyen Huynh Quang Vinh and bride Ho Nguyen Minh Thi.
3. Groom Tran Minh Hieu (Dharma name Van Tinh) and bride Pham Thi My Linh (Dharma name Lien Tuyen).
4. Groom Nguyen Huu Minh and bride Cao Nguyen Huu Trinh.
5. Groom Truong Huu Tai (Thien Tin as Dharma name) and bride Nguyen Pham Anh Thi (Ngoc Duc as Dharma name).
6. Groom Bui Dinh Trung (Dharma name Tinh Trung) and bride Le Thi Thu Hien (Lien Hien as Dharma name).
7. Groom Bui Van Thien Dang (Dharma name Tinh Dang) and bride Tran Thi Phuong Linh (Dharma name Dieu Ngoc).
8. Nguyen Kim Nguyen (Dharma name Nguyen Man) and bride Nguyen Thi Diep (Dharma name Nguyen Thuan).
With the witness of the Triple Gems (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and the couple’s families, the Buddhist wedding activities with traditional rites were done by these couples as paying homage to the Triple Gems, kowtowing to express gratitude to parents’ merits, handing wedding rings and taking the marriage oath living together in the whole life following Buddha’s teachings.
Venerable Abbot Thich Chan Tinh, on behalf of the community monks, sent his advice on marriage ethics to the young couples. The key point for a happy marriage is harmony, the root of peace. Spouses in harmony bring about a happy family. Parents and kids in harmony can maintain morality and give easy education training in the family’s next generations.
In addition, he also reminded these young couples having proper preparation for the future by taking refuge in Triratna and abiding five precepts for lay Buddhists. Each family member should learn Dharma and apply to daily life, be virtuous men and believe in the Karma Rule. Five precepts are the basic rule of human morality. It produces for lay Buddhists are the basic morality for human beings, and conduct a happy life for not only the current existence but the future.
