Buddhists wishing Tet Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh on the Tet's 6th day

On the morning of the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, some Buddhists from Minnesota, California USA and Canada went to Huong Phap Pagoda, bowed and wished Tet Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh on the occasion of the new year.

Next, the monks at Hoang Phap Pagoda also came to pay homage to the Senior Ven. In his teaching words, he advised the Sangha should have time studying the sutra, especially the Nikaya doctrine. For a leaving-home person, one should choose wisdom as a career, as Digha Nikaya sutra states: "Where there is wisdom, there is morality; where has moral, that place has wisdom”. On this occasion, the Master Venerable also thanked the monks for joining hands on the work at the pagoda during the time when the Senior was temporarily absent entering the pure room of studying sutras. Although not directly  be close the disciples, but the Senior still phones monks to ask, encourage and advise about some important tasks when necessary.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Hoang Phap Pagoda's Supporting Board, Hoc Mon came to wish New Year's greetings. Besides sending the New Year wishes of peace and happiness to all them, the Senior Ven. also praised the spirit of devotion and service of the members, thanks to Pagoda’s Supporting Board for accompanying Buddhist activities of the pagoda for many years. He hopes all of them will continue supporting pagoda in the future. After that, the participants took a picture with the Senior Venerable.
