Candle Lighting Ceremony to commemorate Amitabha Buddha Birthday, Nhat Phap pagoda, Dong Nai

On the evening of Dec. 30th, 2023 (Nov. 18th, LC), Nhat Phap pagoda in Dong Nai province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) solemnly celebrated this great event to pay homage to the Amitabha Buddha.

The ceremony was witnessed and directed by Junior Thich Tam Hung, Head of Director Board cum Head of Propagation Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa; Junior Thich Tam Trong, Abbot of Nhat Phap Pagoda accompanying with the venerables, Monks, Nuns returned to attend.

Respectfully pay homage to Amitabha Buddha.

With a candle in my hand, I sincerely pray to the Buddha.

All of us are respectful and have deep faith 

Diligently to practice, single-mindedly wish to be reborn in the Pure Land.
