Candle Lighting Ceremony to commemorate Amitabha Buddha Birthday, Nhat Phap pagoda, Dong Nai

On Jan. 04th, 2025 (Nov. 16th, LC), Nhat Phap pagoda in Dong Nai province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s sect) solemnly organized a candle lighting ceremony to pay homage to the Amitabha Buddha.  

Among the lightly cold atmosphere, the monks and the mass wholeheartedly turned their attention to the Amitabha Buddha majestic statue. The smoke of sandalwood carried a mystical warmth, comforting the hearts of the followers with all their sincerity offered to the noble Three Jewels.

 

 The ashram wholeheartedly chanted and prostrated His name in that solemn and serene atmosphere. Each person returned to their inherent pure and bright mind, wholeheartedly reverently paying homage to the profound and boundless grace of Amitabha Buddha.

 

The candle lighting night to celebrate Amitabha Buddha’s birthday at Nhat Phap pagoda, Dong Nai closed with miraculous, sparkling candle lights in the joy of the mass.
