Candle Lighting Ceremony to commemorate to Amitabha Buddha's Birthday at Tam Phap pagoda, Bình Phước

On the evening of Dec. 18th, 2024 (Nov. 18th, LC), Tam Phap pagoda in Bình Phước province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s sect) solemnly celebrated this great event to pay homage to the Amitabha Buddha.

As a symbol of wisdom, light and infinite life, Amitabha Buddha's compassionate heart arouses deep faith in the Pure Land sect. By the dedicated recitation of the name "Namo Amitabha Buddha", sentient beings can be born in the Pure Land.

 

Not only a religious ritual, the ceremony is also an opportunity for each person to enlighten their inner self, nurture wisdom and compassion, promote practice, accumulate merit and direct to liberation. The ceremony contributes to spreading the spirit of peace, harmony and combination to the community.
