Celebrating enlightened achievement of Bodhisattva Siddhartha and commemorating Covid-19 victims at Dong Cao pagoda

Commemorating the Buddha's enlightenment, Buddhists inside and outside the district returned to Dong Cao pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) to attend the ceremony on the evening of Jan. 9th, 2022 (Dec. 7th, LC). All Buddhists respectfully paid homage to the Buddha. Together, they turn towards the light of wisdom and love, and together they continue on the path of enlightenment in the spirit of propagating the Dharma.

At the beginning of the rite, after offering incense to the Buddha, Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa talked about the meaning of the Buddha's moment of enlightenment. After that, the mass offered flowers to Shakyamuni Buddha; Next, it was moments of silent sitting listening to the bells.

On behalf of the mass, the monk had a few words of remembrance for Covid-19 victims all over the world. All participants spread together peaceful energy to resonate into a good magnetic field, dispelling the epidemic. In that atmosphere, the mass recited the Sutra of Four Graces. This is an  opportunity for everyone to have a chance to reflect and be grateful to those to whom we are indebted and offer our wishes.

At the end of the ceremony, the mass had relaxing moments and received lucky pockets
