Say goodbye to Corona, welcome tiger's symbol in the new year
Eliminate epidemics, increase health when Spring comes.

At exactly 00:00 on the 1st of January in the Tiger’s year, Linh An Pagoda in Taiwan celebrated New Year's Eve with the participation of monks and Buddhists in Taiwan. After offering incense to the Buddha, the mass chanted sutras and prayed, the Buddhists listened to the Dharma and wished a happy new year by Junior Thich Tam Dao. The monks have instructed to offer candles to the Medicine Buddha, offer prayers to eliminate the epidemic, and bring peace to the families in the coming new year. Before the end of the rite, Buddhists rejoiced when they received gifts of Dharma and red pockets from the venerable monks.
On the occasion of the first day of new year to the temple to worship Buddha, the mass sincerely recited the Sutra of Medicine Buddha in the morning. All practitioners recited the Sutra of Lotus Flower, and Universal Door to dedicate merit for their families and loved ones and throughout the Dharma Realm sentient beings to be at peace in the Tiger year. At noon, everyone helps clean up and cook with Vietnamese traditional dishes.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Venerable Monks: Venerable Thich Nhuan Phap, Venerable Thich Duc Tin, who graciously demonstrated, attended the ceremony, and would like to thank the Buddhists who came to the temple to practice and protect Three Jewels, so that the ceremonies of the Vietnamese people at the Linh An Temple in Taiwan can take place successfully.
