Celebrating The Hang Thuan

On November 28th, 2014 (Lunar October 7th Horse Year), Hoang Phap pagoda organised the Hang Thuan celebration for a couple: Nguyen Ngoc Thinh groom (religious name: Tue Dat) and Nguyen Hong Thiep bride (religious name: Lien Diep).

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Under the witness of Three Germs and the presence of relatives on the bride and groom’s side, bride\r\nand groom, traditional rites as bowing the body for praying Triratna refuge,\r\nbowing parents on two sides, wearing ring and proclaimed their vows to live together\r\nas the Buddha’s teachings.\r\n\r\n

Junior Venerable Thich Tam Thuan representing all the monks\r\nhad best wishes to bride and groom. At the same time, Junior Venerable reminded\r\nthe couple that they should apply six harmonies as the Buddha’s teachings.\r\nBuddhists should keep five concepts and apply Buddha’s teaching to life for\r\nhappiness and peace. Then, the Junior Venerable offered gifts and a certificate\r\nof Hang Thuan for the couple. The ceremony ended in the joy of all.
