Ceremony of Praying Peace in Lunar New Year at Dang Phap Pagoda, Binh Phuoc

On Feb. 24th, 2024 (Jan. 15th, LC), Dang Phap Pagoda, Binh Phuoc solemnly celebrated the Great Ceremony of Praying for Peace at the lunar New Year, and a crowd of Buddhists returned to attend.

After Buddhists stabling in the ashram at 8:00 a.m., the mass had a rite releasing creatures, then respectfully started to chant the Medicine Buddha sutra.

Junior Thich Tam Quang gave a Dharma lecture with the topic "The Practice of Lay Buddhists" to all listeners - How Buddhists can best rely on the Three Jewels.

1. Taking refuge in the Three Jewels

2. Chanting sutras

3. Worshiping Buddha and Bodhisattva

4. Listening to the Dharma and Learn the Teachings

5. Becoming a Buddhist family.

6. Always providing additional training to improve knowledge.

7. Being humble, “after you” is good manners.

The ceremony took place solemnly and was closed to the joy of the mass.

After that, the mass gathered at the temple to have lunch.
