Ceremony of Settling Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at An Son Pagoda, Quang Ngai.

In the morning of March 31st, 2021 (Feb. 19th, Buffalo year) An Son pagoda (Duc Pho, Quang Ngai) was solemnly held a ceremony of settling Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara on the occasion of His Birthday (lunar Feb. 19th, LC).

An Son pagoda has a small acreage. This temple has many charity activities and united in the temple’s support Board with Buddhists. In order to create convenient conditions for the believers to have a place of worship and was protected by the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, the majestic and magnificent Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva statue has been embellished. The Bodhisattva statue is 5m high, made of Thanh Hoa white marble. He stands on a noble lotus, a symbol of immunity. Although in the life of saving sentient beings in the world, he is like a  lotus being noble, fragrant.

In the morning, Junior Thich Tam Khuyen, the Abbot of An Son pagoda accompanying  with the monks and Buddhists chanted together the Jizō Sutra.

The ceremony putting the statue of Bodhisattva Guan Yin took place in a solemn, pure atmosphere in the evening of the same day.

The  ceremony is proved and celebrated with Junior Thich Tam Man, Head of Tan Tay Pagoda (Thien Phap); Junior Thich Dao Quang; Junior Thich Tam Thuong with the monks in the pagoda and Buddhists everywhere.

At the rite, he had a few words of dharma to the mass attending the ceremony. Finally, there is an entertainment program.
