Ceremony Wishing for Safety at the Beginning of the Lunar Year at Dong Cao Pogoda – Thanh Hoa

At 9:00 a.m., after series of Pragna bell and drum sound chanting with the pray to Buddha welcoming the Venerable Seniors who reached the lecture hall to demonstrate the great feast of the ceremony wishing for safety of the Dog Year, with the proof of Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hung, Dong Cao Pogoda Abbot, Head organizer; Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hieu, An Minh Temple Abbot; Junior Venerable Thich Tam Thuc, Venerable Thich Tam Luan, Thay Dieu, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda - Ho Chi Minh City, along with Tay Khanh Pagoda, Thai Binh Province.
The head of the abbot Venerable Thich Tam Hieu shared his thoughts on the spring of Buddhists who made the Buddhists aware of the spring. After that, Venerable Thich Tam Thuc gave the public a clear understanding of the meaning of "Prayer" through his simple words that made the public understand the self peace and the surrounding environment. Continuing the lecture to the mass is the way of study, of cultivation, of practice to obtain the present peace for themselves and the others.
Then, Venerable Tam Nhat made the public understand better and appreciate the present moment in body and mind by simple words that could deepen into the Buddhists’hearts. From the words of encouragement to share with moral proofs how to build themselves and Vietnam’s prosperous development. After that, the mass entered the reciting of Sutra Eighth Priciples of Compassion, creature release and had vegetarian food in mindfulness.
In the evening, the Abbot has led the people to worship and cheer for all the people on the anniversary of the ceremony.
