Charity after Buddha's birthday 2024 of Linh An Pagoda in Taiwan

The Buddha taught in the Dhammapada, verses 121 - 122:

121.

Think lightly not of evil,

 "It will not come to me",

 for by the falling of water drops

 a water jar is filled.

The fool with evil fills himself,

he soaks up little by little.

122.

Think lightly not of goodness,

 "It will not come to me",

for by the falling of water drops

 a water jar is filled.

The sage with goodness fills himself,

 he soaks up little by little.

The learned man explains why wisdom is perfect because it accumulates little by little, like water dripping over time to fill a vase.
