Charity and Buddha - Bathing Ceremony at Buddhist’s Home – Thai Binh province

On the occasion of The Vesak ceremony of Buddhist calendar 2560th, on the afternoon of May 19th, 2016 (13th April, Monkey year), the monks and Buddhists of Tay Khanh pagoda, at Cao Mai hamlet, Quang Hung commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province, dpnated charitable gifts at Quang Hung commune.

The group visited and gave gifts for 50 families in needy situation, with the single elderly and the disabled. Each package is worth 300.000 VND (including: food and an electric fan).

 

In evenings from 13th  to 15th April, the monks of Tay Khanh pagoda respectively did Buddha bathing ceremony at Buddhist families who made up Bodhi mind to set Lumbini garden in 2 villages: Cao Mai hamlet, Quang Hung commune and My Nguyen hamlet, Quang Trung commune.
